This cruise has proven itself to be a most flexible one from the traveller’s point of view. Since Tallinn in its versatility has dozens of sites worth paying a visit to, this is only one version of what your individual sightseeing cruise could be like. It all depends on what you want and how you want it.
Today, Kadriorg is a term that coincides with the swan-lake where our former prima-ballerina used to dance to Tschaikovsky, two castles of the utmost fame in our state and the recently opened grand-scale art and exhibition hall KUMU. We will do whatever you feel like doing when here – dance on water, see the President’s castle or go and see art. Driving around in Pirita, we can make a stop at the famous Song and Dance Festival grounds, the yacht club, the centre for the 1980 Olympics’ Sailing Regata, go and investigate a well-preserved war submarine at the harbour, St Brigitte’s Nunnery, etc. We have prepared a heart-warming walk in the old town where you will see and hear about all the characteristics that make Tallinn into what it has been and what it still is today – unique and memorable. History is palpable when in the old town, we will get to know what went on both inside and outside the town wall and its 48 towers. For those of you more serious and realistic-minded, a drive around Kopli would be next in line – wooden houses next to cold czarist buildings give you a pretty good idea of what the main struggle in society is here today – a lot of work still needs
