The hotel occupies a five-storey Art-Nouveau building in the central part of Riga built in 1910 designed by architect J. Asaris. During the years 1998-2000 it was under partial reconstruction. After the restoration of independence in the Republic of Latvia, the hotel "VIKTORIJA" was one of the first to obtain the status of a private hotel in 1993, and it is owned by the company "Rigas Viesis" Ltd. Hotel "VIKTORIJA" is a member of the Latvian Hotel and Restaurants Association. In 1996 the hotel"VIKTORIJA" was awarded a certificate of Three Stars status, it is a tourist class hotel with good service and reasonable price.

The hotel is about 15-20 minutes´ walk from the Riga railway terminal, bus station and within 20 minutes´ drive from the airport "Riga". From airport you can go by bus Nr. 22 till Stockmann center. Than go straight and on opposite site of Central Post office and shopping center ORIGO is trolley bus stop. Take trolley bus Nr. 11 or 18 or 23 and go 2 stops till Gertrudes street, than 100 m till crossing. You will see 5 storey building and on the corner of this building is restaurant STABURAGS and in the same building is hotel VIKTORIJA.
