The hotel is located in a wonderful place in the main street of Kuressaare old town, close to the centre and the castle park. Until 1918, Kuressaare was called Arensburg– this was the name of the fortress built here at the seacoast in the 13th century after Germans conquered the western part of Saaremaa.

The historical building, completed at the end of 18 century, in the main street of Kuressaare old town, was completely renovated by 1 June 2002 when Hotel Arensburg opened. By now Hotel Arensburg has developed and its name is Arensburg Boutique Hotel & Spa.

New architecture and timeless values meet in the hotel complex. The aim of the interior design was not so much conciliating and bringing together the old and the new, but rather emphasising and comparison of these. As details, aristocratic paintings are important elements in the whole design – fragments of paintings in majestic golden frames.

There are total 46 hotel rooms in our joined old house with historical background and the new modern building. In the standard rooms there are WC, shower or bath, hair-drier, LCD TV set, cable TV, radio, telephone and wireless Internet. In superior rooms there are WC, shower or bath, LCD TV set, cable TV, telephone, wireless Internet, bathrobe, hair-drier, mini bar, and air-conditioner.

Restaurant

Fascinated by different moods it is possible to enjoy yourselves in several ways. In the newer part of the hotel there is a spacious and comfortable Lounge restaurant seating 60. In the older part of the hotel is a A la Carte restaurant having slightly more ceremonial atmosphere. For those who love good wine we offer the wine room with antique interior and a fireplace. In summer our visitors can enjoy our open-air terraces.

The menu of our restaurants is a mixture of traditions of foods of different countries, however, the local touch is clearly recognizable.

Spa & Saunas

Here you can enjoy soothing as well as stimulating body cares, massages reducing stress, relaxation in Finnish or steam saunas, you can freshen yourself in the swimming pool or enjoy yourself in jacuzzi.

We offer facial and body cares in the form of ´a la carte.
You can choose a scrubber or wrapping that please you and that is suitable exactly for your skin. In the mornings we suggest you try the sunrise cares that nourish and give energy for the day. In the afternoon it is a real pleasure to enjoy the sunset cares that relieve stress and increase the satisfaction of your body and soul. Certainly have we thought about men. We offer them more manful cares elaborated by men themselves using Nickel products.

Great diversity is come together with friends in our infra-red sauna. Little parties can be enjoyed in private sauna where is steam sauna, finnish sauna and jaccuzy and possibility to use swimming pool.
